The Importance of Consistency

See, this is the kind of thing I'm talking about when I say there needs to be better consistency and stability.

1. The Finals ended on November 5th.
2. A bunch of debate over contraction in League Ideas follows.
3. Draft combine results get released November 6th, which is good.
4. And then we hit a dead spot until November 10th, when the draft tournament rosters are released.
5. It's now November 12th, a full week after the Finals ended. No draft tournament games played yet. The trade office isn't even open, which frankly astonishes me.

It's little wonder there's only been a few teams filling out the interview request forms (I need to do it myself incidentally, and will shortly). But the pace is going so slow right now, it's killing activity.

Suggestions
1. Open the trade office 1 or 2 days after the Finals are over. It's one of the biggest generators of offseason activity.
2. Announce the draft tournament teams much earlier, during the Finals perhaps, so that the games are ready to start not long after the Finals.
3. Move the interviews until *after* the draft tournament games. The college file is of limited usefulness in ascertaining shooting ratings, so we're still interviewing pretty blind on shooting right now - no draft camp games to look at.

The way things are going right now, there's not much point to checking the forums every day, though I do when I have a couple minutes - usually in Guest mode, which is what most GMs seem to be doing.

Draft tournament games begin tonight (was supposed to be last night but midterm today is taking up more time than I expected) and I'll move back interviews to Friday. Trade office will be opened up ASAP as well as coach hiring.

I'm not finding a tentative schedule for anything offseason related. Am I missing it ? Renouncements, Draft, FA, Coaches, etc ??

Agree also and we discussed this a couple times - if Commisioners need help there are a few good GMs that, if asked, will be happy to help I'm sure....
